World Vision Kenya Commended for Positive Impact in Orwa, Sekerr Ward
H.E. Deputy Governor Robert Achaule Komolle expressed deep appreciation for the transformative work of World Vision Kenya during a close-out community meeting in Orwa, Sekerr Ward. He highlighted the vital role of unity and collaboration in the development of the region, praising World Vision’s dedicated efforts in child protection, education, and water infrastructure, which have positively impacted thousands of lives.
World Vision Kenya's Board Chair, David Gindanga, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting 31,000 children in Orwa by enhancing access to quality education and safeguarding children's rights.
As part of its initiatives, World Vision Kenya has invested Ksh 15 million into water projects, which are benefiting 14 primary schools and 13 Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centers in the area.
Among those present at the event were CECM William Lopewot, CECM Martin Lottee, Chief Officers Reuben Lotumale, Paul Lalat, and Julius Lokituma, as well as Tom Masinde (Cluster Manager for West Pokot and Turkana), Sheila Muya, David Liambila, and Salome Onyonga from World Vision Kenya.
