West Pokot's 205 National Police Reservists Pass Out Parade at Chesta

After a successful training of the recently recruited 205 National Police Reservists (NPRs), which culminated in a colourful pass-out parade, it is safe to say that the recruits are now ready to serve our sub-counties.
The pass out parade, which was presided over by the Senior Assistant Inspector General and Director of Operations, Ranson Lolmodini, was today held at Chesta TTC in Sigor Constituency.
Speaking during the ceremony Governor Kachapin urged them to use the skills and knowledge such as human rights and policy, detecting criminal activities like banditry, law enforcement and county legislation, basic first aid skills among other key areas gained to effectively discharge their duties.
Other leaders present were the Deputy Governor H.E. Robert Komolle, Sigor Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Peter Lochakapong, MCAs for Lomut and Weiwei Wards, Jacob Ang'olemuk Toung'ole and David Moiben respectively, Commissioner of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, Dr. Raymond Nyeris and West Pokot County Commissioner, Mr. Apollo Okello among others.
