West Pokot County Showcases Local Talent at the 24th East Africa Community Trade Fair
The County Government of West Pokot supported three local exhibitors at the 24th East Africa Community Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Trade Fair, held in Juba, South Sudan, from October 26th to November 5th.
West Pokot’s delegation made a strong impression at the fair, showcasing distinctive local products, including finely crafted beadwork (ushanga) and high-quality Pokot honey. Through this platform, exhibitors gained valuable exposure to regional markets, while West Pokot County's rich cultural heritage and dedication to premium quality were prominently displayed.
The participation not only strengthens trade ties within the region but also promotes sustainable economic growth by offering increased visibility to our talented artisans and producers on an international stage opening doors to new market opportunities and empowering its local business community for future growth.
