West Pokot County Partnership
A team from UNICEF today paid the County Government of West Pokot a visit ahead of the UNICEF Representative to Kenya Shaheen Nilofer's visit to the county.
The Country Representative's visit will be centered on agendas ranging from West Pokot county Assembly address, signing of the Joint Partnership Agreement and visit to UNICEF supported projects.
In line with this, the County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management and ICT, Martin Lottee PSM chaired a meeting consisting of CECs Claire Parklea (Health and sanitation ), Rebecca Kide (education), Chief Officers David Chepelion (Executive office if the governor), Julius Lokituman (education and ECD), Priscillah Mungo(finance and economic planning), Lilian Korinyang(special programs), Paul Lalat (culture), Leonard Kamsait(water) and Raphael Kaleken (vocational training and technical training) among other county directors to deliberate on the preparations to receive the team.
This collective initiative signifies a commendable step towards holistic progress within West Pokot County by synergizing efforts across vital sectors to uplift its communities and fortify its foundations for a brighter future.
