West Pokot county leaders Meeting with President William Ruto

Governor Simon Kachapin together with elected leaders from West Pokot county held a meeting with President William Ruto to discuss matters development and security.

The focal point of these discussions was the imperative enhancement of border security along the Pokot-Turkana border, aiming to establish a sustainable atmosphere of peace and stability.

This meeting signals a proactive approach by the county leadership while demonstrating a united front in addressing the pressing challenges faced by the region. 

The leaders are set to engage in further security deliberations with Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki.
