WEST POKOT COUNTY CIDP 2023 - 2027 LAUNCH

Under the astute leadership of H.E. Governor Simon Kachapin and H.E. Achaule Robert Komolle, Deputy Governor West Pokot County has reached a pivotal moment in its development trajectory with the unveiling of the Third County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) for 2023-2027 at Masol Ward.

As the CIDP unfolds, it holds the promise of a brighter future for West Pokot County, fostering an environment where residents can thrive, businesses can flourish, and communities can prosper.

The event also saw the commissioning of Surumben Integrated Project comprising of Surumben Health center, Surumben Primary Boarding school and Surumben Solar Powered borehole.

The launch brought together leaders including Senator Hon. Julius Murgor, Sigor Constituency Member of Parliament Hon. Peter Lochakapong, West Pokot Women representative Hon. Rael Aleutum, County Commissioner Apollo Okello, West Pokot County speaker Hon. Fredrick Kaptui Siywat ,First Lady H.E Scovia Chebet Kachapin , MCAs, County Executive Committee Members, Chief Officers, officials from the County Government of West Pokot and national government and community members.
