Sigor Sub-County Hospital Equipped with Advanced Medical Tools

Nelly Soprin, the Chief Officer for Health and Sanitation, accompanied by officials from the county department of health and sanitation visited Sigor Sub-County Hospital to receive a range of medical equipment from the national government.
This significant delivery included vital items such as an anesthesia system, infant radiant warmer, hydraulic operating table, emergency trolley, portable ECG monitor, diathermy machine, suction machine, and drip stand. Additionally, the hospital received a vaccine fridge, Littmann stethoscope II, a 40-litre autoclave, and essential sets for delivery, dressing, and stitching. The consignment also included a 7x7 sterilizing drum and an operating table.
These donations are expected to significantly enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services to the community. The new equipment will improve the hospital's surgical, emergency, and maternal care capabilities, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment.

Chief officer Nelly Soprin emphasized the importance of this support in strengthening the local healthcare system and expressed gratitude to the national government and H.E. Governor Simon Kachapin for their commitment to improving health services in the region. This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to equip healthcare facilities with the necessary tools to meet the growing demands of the population.
