SECTOR HEARING ON COUNTY BUDGET PROPOSALS FOR FY 2024/2025 AND 2026/2027 MTEF PERIOD

The county Department of Finance and Economic Planning held Sector Hearing on County Budget Proposals for FY 2024/2025 And 2026/2027 MTEF Period at Mtelo Hall.

The county treasury is charged with the responsibility of coordinating the preparation of the county budget in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, stakeholders’ engagement is mandatory in the budgeting process.

The forum facilitated stakeholder participation where submissions and presentations on sector priorities, policies, spending allocations and implementation modalities were made.

The forum also brought together Officers from various county departments.
