Livestock Development Enhancement

In move aimed at elevating the standards of Veterinary and Animal Production in West Pokot, Governor Simon Kachapin held deliberations with Dr. Obadia Njagi, Director of Veterinary Services at his offices in Kapenguria.

The discussions centered on strategies to enhance the quality and relevance of educational programs in the field. Among the key issues deliberated upon was the improvement of animal production to meet the evolving needs of the region and market demands.

Dr. Njagi's visit is part of an ongoing assessment in West Pokot County. He is expected to visit Nasukuta Abattoir to assess the progress made in livestock development. This visit also serves as a representation of the Permanent Secretary for Livestock, focusing on the development and advancement of livestock-related initiatives.
