IBEC Session Resolves Key Funding Issues, Promises Improved Service Delivery

H.E. Simon Kachapin  participated in the 26th Ordinary Session of the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC) held in Karen, Nairobi.
This platform fosters productive dialogue between the National and County Governments, ensuring unity, collaboration, and efficient service delivery to citizens.
Among the key issues discussed was the bursary funds standoff, which has now been successfully resolved. As a result, the County Government of West Pokot is set to disburse bursaries this year, reaffirming its commitment to supporting education and empowering local communities.

Governor Kachapin reassured his  dedication  to advocating for the county’s priorities in such forums to ensure residents receive the resources and opportunities they deserve.
