Hundreds of Households set to benefit from CBPP Vaccination Drive

Pastoralists' households in Pokot North are set to benefit from Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP) vaccination drive.
The vaccination which resumed this week targets cattle from Suam, Kapchok, Kiwawa, Alale and Kasei wards and is being implemented by the County Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, veterinary unit.
When he released the teams to the field, County Director of Veterinary services Dr. Samuel Chelimo assured them of the county governments support in reaching the targeted areas as mobilisation of was done to maximise the drive's goal.
The exercise which resumed on Monday 8th January,2024 is expected to end on Monday 15th January,2024.
