Health PS Mary Muthoni Visits Governor Simon Kachapin to Strengthen Health Collaboration

Principal Secretary for Health, Mary Muthoni, accompanied by a delegation from the national government, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Simon Kachapin at his official residence.

This visit was part of a larger initiative aimed at enhancing collaboration between the national and county governments on health and sanitation matters.During their meeting, PS Muthoni and Governor Kachapin discussed strategic approaches to improving public health services and bolstering sanitation efforts across the region.

The visit enhanced the government's dedication to addressing critical health challenges at the grassroots level.Following the meeting, the delegation will launch a major public health campaign titled "Epuka Uchafu, Afya Nyumbani" at Makutano Primary School in Mnagei Ward. This campaign is designed to raise awareness about the vital role of cleanliness and hygiene in disease prevention and promoting community well-being.
