Governor Kachapin Pledges Comprehensive Upgrades to County Healthcare Services

To ensure quality and affordable healthcare services for the residents of Lelan Ward, Governor Simon Kachapin inaugurated a new Pediatric Ward at Kabichbich Sub-County Hospital.

Flanked by Deputy Governor Robert Komolle, the governor also announced plans to expand the hospital with the construction of a maternity wing, a male ward, X-ray facilities, and the recruitment of additional medical practitioners to provide essential healthcare services.

Moreover, Governor Kachapin emphasized his commitment to upgrading Kapenguria County Referral Hospital to Level 6 by establishing MRI and CT scan centers.

He also assessed the proposed Kabichbich Milk Processing Plant and Muruny Dairy Plant, highlighting his administration's plans to bring the milk processing plant to fruition.

Governor Kachapin pledged to complete and operationalize over 50 projects across the county by the end of the year.
