Governor attends a Public Finance for Sustainable Development conference in Turkey

Sound public financial management is critical to effective governmental responses to crises and the implementation of strategies for a more sustainable future.

Cognizant of this, Governor Simon Kachapin is in Istanbul, Turkey for a two-day international Conference themed “Public Finance for Sustainable Development,” to learn and share on best practices budgeting.

Governor Kachapin is also expected to deliver keynote address during the conference on county’s best practices and key reforms aimed at strengthening the link between budget and the development.

The conference will also consider capacity development for integrated approaches to public finance for the SDGs.
