E4IMPACT Hands Over Marketing Website to West Pokot County Government
E4IMPACT
officially handed over a marketing website designed for the local business
community to the West Pokot County Government's Department of Public Service,
Management, and ICT.
Martin Lottee, the County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management and ICT, received the E4IMPACT team where he commended the organization for its comprehensive support in value chain strengthening, training, market linkages, and GIS enhancement, culminating in the development of this vital marketing website. Lottee highlighted the platform's role in economically empowering the local community.
Led by Dr. Bernadette Mutinda, the Country Project Manager, the E4IMPACT team presented the website, westpokot.biz, to county officials. Administrative rights were transferred to the county government's ICT section, headed by Pius Kamtia.
The westpokot.biz platform is expected to expand market reach, reduce operational costs, and improve customer insights. It also offers flexibility, scalability, and enhanced marketing opportunities. With features such as convenience, a wider selection of products, better prices, access to reviews and ratings, and easy returns, the platform promises to boost its popularity and continue growing.
Also in attendance were chief officers Musa Losiangole of PSM and ICT and Daniel Lopale of Trade and investments among other administrative and technical staff from the county government.
