Deputy Governor Robert Komolle receives and flags off KEMSA commodities to West Pokot County Health Facilities

West Pokot County Deputy Governor H.E. Robert Komolle received and flagged off medical supplies from Kenya Medical supplies Authority (KEMSA) worth Kes 45,000,000/- to be distributed to all the health facilities within West Pokot County.

Speaking during the flag off at the premises of Health and Sanitation Department, the deputy governor said the drugs will be distributed in all 146 public health facilities across the county.
The deputy also highlighted the initiative aims of ensuring all health facilities are fully stocked and equipped to offer the best health services to the people of West Pokot County.

He noted that through the effective leadership of Governor Simon Kachapin, the county has been able to procure digs and pharmaceuticals on time in a move to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare for all.
“West Pokot County is one of the counties to receive drugs consignment from KEMSA on time. This is exemplary and we need to continue this way,” said the deputy governor.
So far, the Department of Health has received drugs and pharmaceuticals worth Ksh. 91 million for the FY 2023/2024.
