Deputy Governor Komolle Receives Key Policy Insights from KIPPRA to BOOST County Development
Deputy Governor Robert Komolle today hosted a delegation from the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), led by Ms. Irene Mithia, Director of Corporate Services. The team presented the results of a comprehensive study on devolved governance in West Pokot County, conducted over the past financial year, and shared key research findings along with policy recommendations.
The meeting, attended by senior county officials and technical experts from various departments, highlighted crucial metrics such as the Public Affairs Index, the County Business Environment for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), the National Information Platform for Food and Nutrition (NIPFN) research, the County Climate Change Preparedness Index, and the County Nutrition Index.
These insights are vital for informing decision-making processes and improving service delivery and by incorporating the findings into our County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), we aim to accelerate progress towards sustainable development goals and align more effectively with the national development agenda.
