County Officials Assess Aramaket ECDE College, Pledge Revival Effort
Governor
Simon Kachapin, accompanied by the county executive committee member for
Education and Technical Training Rebecca Kide and chief officer Julius
Lokituman, toured and inspected the Aramaket Early Childhood Development
Education College to assess its current status.
The Aramaket ECDE is one of the stalled projects in the county that the governor has vowed to revive. He emphasized the crucial role that early childhood development colleges play in preparing professionals, advancing research, supporting communities, and advocating for policies that promote the healthy development of young children.
Expressing
frustration, Governor Kachapin highlighted the wasted time and resources due to
political factors. He urged fellow leaders to prioritize development and
fulfil pledges made to the people of West Pokot County.
