County Officials Assess Aramaket ECDE College, Pledge Revival Effort

Governor Simon Kachapin, accompanied by the county executive committee member for Education and Technical Training Rebecca Kide and chief officer Julius Lokituman, toured and inspected the Aramaket Early Childhood Development Education College to assess its current status.

The Aramaket ECDE is one of the stalled projects in the county that the governor has vowed to revive. He emphasized the crucial role that early childhood development colleges play in preparing professionals, advancing research, supporting communities, and advocating for policies that promote the healthy development of young children.

Expressing frustration, Governor Kachapin highlighted the wasted time and resources due to political factors. He urged fellow leaders to prioritize development and fulfil pledges made to the people of West Pokot County.

Officials from various county departments and County Assembly were also present during the inspection
