ADS-North Rift, World Renew and Way of Peace Pays the County a Courtesy Visit

The County Government of West Pokot hosted a team from ADS North Rift represented by Executive Director Peter Nyorsok, Simon Osundwa & David Kangangi from World Renew and Dr. Allan Waihumbu and Dr. Jacinta Baraza of Way of Peace.

The team was received by Chief Officer for Special programs and disaster management David Chepelion, County Director of Peace, Jackson Alukusia and Faith Chepkasy from the gender office.

 The team is seeking partnership with the County of West Pokot so that the Healing Hearts Transforming Nation project can be introduced in the county especially in the armed conflict zones of Ombolion, Takaywa, Sarmach and eventually spread to WeiWei, Masol and Lomut.

The meeting saw various peace initiatives discussed where officers from concerned county departments aired their views to fully draw the picture of the impacts of insecurity in the county.
