Governor H.E. Simon Kachapin has met Livingstone Koech who is the Head of Programs at A.I.C Cure International Hospital, Kijabe to discuss provision of medical services to disabled children within West Pokot County.

Children living with disability in West Pokot have benefitted from free medical services from a team of doctors and medical specialists from (A.I.C) Cure International, and more than 20 are expected to undergo corrective surgeries in two weeks’ time.

Screening of new and old cases of children with disability will be conducted on September 7, 2022 at Kapenguria Referral Hospital.

AIC Cure International provides medical services to disabled children only and its operations funds are donations received from other partners such as Hope and Healing International, Africa Mission Healthcare, Africa conglomerate Janus Continental Group (JCG) and Safaricom through Wezesha Education and in collaboration with the respective County Governments.
