County Government of West Pokot led by CEC Augustine Monges in collaboration with Kenya Youth Employment and Skills Program (K-YES's) representative Dr. Peter Joyce- USAID Youth Advisor, officially launched West Pokot Youth Employment Compact at Mtelo Hall, Kapenguria.


The program aims to enhance employment opportunities among the youth by creating platforms for collaborative learning between youth employment compacts across K-YES counties.
The program focuses on nine counties, West Pokot being one them.


Among those present were CECMs Joel Arumonyang, Francis Kitelauyan, Emily Chepoghisio, Ruth Kisabith, Luka Chepelion and their Nyeri County counterpart Esther Ndung'u and Richard Todosia- Youth Bunge President, among other officials.
