It was agreed that a technical team be set up to look into the issues raised by the community and a report tabled within two months.
The team, led by KenGen Board of Directors Chair Joshua Choge, assured the Governor of close working ties with the county government, to develop the community living within and around the power station. The Governor was accompanied by several county officials who then proceeded to Turkwel Hydroelectric Power station to assess its surrounding status.
