Today Amjad Ayoubi- General Manger at Abros Green; a German NGO specializing in renewable energy paid the county a courtesy call to discuss how the two (Abros Green and West Pokot County) can partner and engage on programs that will intensively involve the local residents.
Mr. Amjad said that there is need to involve the local community in sports such as archery and music to ensure that peace is sustained while at the same time uplifting the living standards of West Pokot residents.
Receiving the team from Abros Green, the CEC Sports, Culture and Tourism, Ms. Emily Chepoghisho noted that most residents of West Pokot have been practising archery as part of the Pokot tradition.
