The scorching sun and the windy weather didn’t stop students from the various sub counties to showcase a spectacular performance in the just concluded primary schools sub county games that were held at Nasokol Girls’ high school.
While handing over two soccer balls and volley balls and sporting gear, County Chief Sports officer Simon Ripis said that the county is keen on ensuring that sports is nurtured from the grassroots. Ripis said that the ministry will continue to support the county teams which will now proceed to Kericho for regionals.

 
 


Receiving the balls, Education Director Kipkomo sub county Julius Ng’oleshi urged for further support from the county, saying that there is a huge potential in the county in the field of sports.
He wished the county well in the regionals,” As a county, we have won and formed a team. Represent the county well.”
The competition saw Kipkomo sub county clinch a 4:2 win against Pokot Central sub county.
