Academic Background: Joined Moi University and did a BA in Economics, was admitted to the prestigious Brandeis University in the USA in 2007 supported by the FORD foundation, in the quest of building transformative leadership in Africa.

Early Life and Education: Titus Lotee who was born sometimes in the 1970's and attended several schools in the now Pokot North District, he completed his schooling in Kacheliba Mixed Primary School and joined Kacheliba Mixed Day Secondary School upto 1992. At that time the Pokot Child entry into the University was very low and he was among the few less than 20 students from Pokot that were admitted into the public universities.

Professional Career: Started community service in 1998 as a teacher at Chepkorniswo Secondary School and in 2001 moved to a local NGO servicing the people living with disability in West Pokot and within a period of 2 years the organization had raised its community work and profile to a national level, acquitting assets as well as improving the socio-economic status of the PLWDs.

He joined ACTIONAID in 2003 as a pioneer of its programme in West Pokot. Was very up instrumental in issues of cross border peace projects and promotions of Education and in the establishment of a satellite office in East Pokot, the now Tangulbei office.

Worked with Coexistence International in Ghana covering 6 West African Countries and in September 2008 come back to Kenya and worked for CAFOD East Africa as the governance programme officer covering the East African Countries.
