Practitioners from various counties among them; West Pokot, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Trans-Nzoia and other institutions such as; Kenya Seed Company, Kenya Commercial Bank and University of Eldoret, converged at Kishaunet grounds where they received training on disciplinary process, legal risks and common mistakes in organizations.
Mr. Joel Arumonyang’- CEC of Lands and Urban Development addressed the practitioners on matters of human resource in the county of West Pokot. He said the county has had challenges which will however be overcome through such trainings that empower employees.
Mr. Jackson Nguriareng’an, Chairperson- County Public Service Board, addressed the practitioners outlining issues pertaining standard procedures for uniformity in handling disciplinary actions, understand the roles and responsibilities of the various institutions/agencies/commissions and authorized officers in handling disciplinary cases.
Present during the training were, Mr. Felix Puonyang- Agt. Head of the Human Resource Department, Mrs. Dorcas Wanaina- Executive Director Institute of Human Resource Management, Mr. Stephen Malakwen- National Vice Chairman, Institute Of Human Resource Management Council among others.
