A visit to the Bethany Kids children's centre at the Kijabe hospital has brought a different perspective to the way we look at the term "rehabilitation" in a layman's language. The surgeons, nurses and therapists treat children with burns, cleft lips, cleft palates, hydrocephalus, spinal bifida and other conditions.
It’s great to experience the compassion and commitment to improving the physical and spiritual health of children in Africa. As we seek partnerships with the centre to work with the West Pokot County to improve on what we already have in regards to treatment and care for the disabled in our communities.
